Quorn, IA
Quorn was a village in western Iowa, located near Kingsley, IA, which attracted a number of settlers in the early 1880s when its founders promised that it would become a regional center; those plans were quashed when the railroad bypassed it to stop in Kingsley, and Quorn is now a ghost town. Harry Gaspar was born here during the town's brief heyday.
