Biographical Information[edit]

Outfielder Quincy Foster spent 14 seasons in the minor leagues. He was drafted twice, last by the Florida Marlins in the 64th round of the 1995 amateur draft. The speedster, who stole 73 bases in 1998 and 56 bases in 1999, remained in the Marlins system through 2002. He played in the Montreal Expos system in 2002 and 2003. In 2004 and 2005, he played in independent baseball, stealing 106 bases between them. He returned to affiliated ball in the San Francisco Giants system in 2006 and later played in independent ball, the Mexican League, Mexican Pacific Winter League and Venezuelan Winter League until 2009.

Between all professional levels, including winter leagues, he hit .288/.352/.368 with 497 stolen bases in 1,385 games.
