Biographical Information[edit]

Puchy Delgado was signed by the Boston Red Sox as an amateur free agent in 1973 and came to the majors for thirteen games with the Seattle Mariners in 1977.

He stole 49 bases with the San Jose Missions in 1978.

He was the first player with the last name Delgado to break into the majors.

He played for the Santurce Crabbers of the Puerto Rico Winter Baseball League.
