Biographical Information[edit]
Presley Askew coached at New Mexico A&M/New Mexico State University from 1957 to 1965, leading the team to a 68–126–3 record. He was succeeded by Pat Ryan. He was more decorated as a basketball coach, heading the University of Arkansas, Connors State College and New Mexico State teams at various points. Presley Askew Field is named after him. He played college basketball.
