Pop Hedden was at Butler University from 1931 to 1946, coaching baseball in 1945. He moved to Anderson College & Theological Seminary in 1946-1949 where he coached baseball (in 1948), football and basketball. He returned to Butler in 1949, retiring from coaching in 1965 and from the P.E. department in 1974.
