Biographical Information

Pompeyo Llamas was an outfielder for the Colombian national team in the 1970 Amateur World Series, 1971 Amateur World Series and 1971 Pan American Games. In the 1971 Pan Am Games, he started in RF for Colombia, which won the Bronze; through 2014, it remains their lone baseball medal in a Pan American Games. His son Juan Llamas played for Colombia as well.
