Biographical Information[edit]
Second baseman Piper Davis played nearly a decade for the Birmingham Black Barons and also managed the club. He later played in the minor leagues from 1950 to 1958, including 8 seasons in the Pacific Coast League for the Oakland Oaks and Los Angeles Angels.
