Biographical Information[edit]
Pidgey Morgan, who was born and died in Missouri, played in every game of the St. Louis Red Stockings in 1875. Hitting .261, he was well above the team average of .201. Three years later he played in the National League for the Milwaukee Grays of 1878, but he hit under .200.
Morgan also pitched in 7 games for the Red Stockings, going 1-3. In his career, he played 23 games in the outfield, 10 at third base, 7 at pitcher, and 1 at second base.
