Biographical Information[edit]
Phyllis "Sugar" Koehn played in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League from 1943 to 1950, most notably as a member of the Kenosha Comets and South Bend Blue Sox. In her first year, she hit .238 with 4 homers for the Comets. With the Blue Sox in 1946, she was moved to the mound and went 22-15 for the Blue Sox. Overall during her career, she went 48-54 with a 2.55 ERA as a pitcher and hit .200 with 6 home runs.
Her birthplace has also been listed as Madison, WI.
