Biographical Information

Outfielder Phil Swimley spent 4 years (1961-1964) in the New York Yankees' chain, briefly reaching AA. Overall he hit .263/.378/.390 in 372 games.

Swimley then became a college coach at University of California, Davis from 1966 to 2002 (except for 1977), He compiled a 902-832-15 record in 26 years at the school.

As of 2015 he was living in Rancho Murieta, CA.
