Biographical Information

Pitcher Phil Derryman was picked by the Montréal Expos in the 26th round of the 1994 amateur draft, one round after they took Jeremy Ware. Proceeding to junior college, he was taken by the Expos in the 44th round of the 1995 amateur draft. In the 2003 European Championship, he played for the British national team, going 1 for 15 with a run and two RBI while pitching 3 innings (3 H, BB, K, 2 R).
