Peter Jansson went 0 for 5 with two walks for the Rättvik Butchers in 2004. He did not play in the Elitserien in 2005 or 2006. In 2007, he hit .171/.258/.233 for Gefle and went 0-7 with a 5.27 ERA; Jansson walked 55 in 54 2/3 IP. During 2008, he hit .250/.416/300 for Rättvik and posted a 3-6, 7.09 record. He was put on Sweden's preliminary roster for the 2009 Baseball World Cup.
