Biographical Information[edit]
Peter Dallas played in the independent leagues and was on the Greek national team (where he was listed as Peter Dalamagas).
Dallas was 1-6 with a 4.48 ERA for the 1996 Altoona Rail Kings and played some outfield, going 4 for 20 with a run and a RBI. With the same team in 1997, he played all three outfield slots, the corner infield positions and pitched a little (1-0, 4.00 in 5 G). He hit .233/.295/.279. In 1998, he batted .206/.317/.235 in 21 games for the Huntington RailKings and had a 7.36 ERA in one game. For his career, he batted .221/.293/.257 in 159 plate appearances over 79 games, with 10 runs and 9 RBI. He had a 2-6, 4.56 record on the hill.
Dallas won a game for Greece in the 2002 European Championship B-Pool as Greece took the tourney to advance to the 2003 European Championship. He was on the roster for Greece for the 2005 European Championship but did not get into a game due to a bureaucratic delay on his passport. He later coached baseball.
