Biographical Information

First baseman Pete Alborano played in the minor leagues in 1953 and 1954. He later served as head coach at Brooklyn College from at least 1982 to 1992 when the school dropped the sport. His son, Pete Alborano, played in the minors in the 1980s and 1990s. His daughter was a nationally ranked track and field athlete. Pete Sr. served in the Korean War and was later a teacher and firefighter.
