Biographical Information[edit]
Pete Wilk was a college coach.
Wilk began his coaching career as an assistant at Boston University (1990-1991). He was an assistant at Harvard University from 1992-1995. In 1996-1997, he was head coach at Acton-Boxboro High School. He was assistant coach of the 1997 Harwich Mariners and 1998-1999 Mat-Su Miners in the summers and has also conducted baseball clinics in Sweden (1994), Germany (1996), Norway (2001) and the Dominican Republic (2000-2002, 2005).
Wilk became head coach of Georgetown University in 1999 after being an assistant coach there in 1998-1999, staying through 2020. He then became manager of the Vermont Lake Monsters of the Futures League in 2021. He won the league championship in his first season at the helm. He passed away from brain cancer in 2024.
