Biographical Information[edit]
Pete Charton, whose real first name was "Frank", pitched with the Boston Red Sox in 1964, finishing his lone big league season with an 0-2 record and 5.26 ERA in 25 games (5 starts). The next year, with the Toronto Maple Leafs of the International League, he not only had an ERA of 2.37 but he also hit .278.
