Biographical Information[edit]

Catcher Percy Hough spent six years in the minor leagues.

He began his pro career in 1947 at age 17. He showed occasional pop, hitting 10 home runs in 85 games for the Kingsport Cherokees in 1949. In 1950, he hit .302, slugged .573 and hit 11 home runs for the Eau Claire Bears (he added another dinger with the Evansville Braves to bring his season total to 12).

Overall, he hit at least 34 home runs in his career.

He served in the Army, being stationed in post-war Germany.
