Biographical Information

Peng-Fei Tu played in the TML for 5 years.

Tu represented Taiwan in the 1988 World Junior Championship, 1990 Haarlemse Honkbalweek and 1993 Universiade. He was drafted by the Wei-Chuan Dragons in the first round of the 1993 CPBL Draft, but he refused to sign. The Chianan Luka then signed him when they were founded in 1996, and he hit .279/.345/.375 in 76 games in 1997. Tu recorded a .265/.310/.343 batting line in 1998, then he had a .235/.281/.287 batting line in 1999 while attending the 1999 TML All-Star Game. However, Tu only played 18 games with a .357/.400/.405 batting line in 2000, then he announced his retirement after hitting .220/.303/.237 in 2001.

Overall, Tu hit 265/.319/.337 with 200 hits in 5 seasons in the TML.
