Biographical Information

Pedrito Álvarez was a multi-sport Dominican star. He was an outfielder for the Dominican national team in the 1941 Amateur World Series. He had previously won both the 400 meter and 800 meter races in a national competition in 1937. In 1983, he was inducted into the Dominican Sports Hall of Fame.
