Pavol Teslik was 0-1 with a 5.40 ERA for the Slovakian national team in the 2008 European Championship Qualifiers, losing to Ukraine. He coached for Slovakia in the 2009 European Junior Championship. In the 2011 European Championship Qualifiers, he nearly helped Slovakia upset Belgium, with five shutout innings but was yanked after seven walks. Slovakia went on to lose as the bullpen didn't hold it up.
He later was the founder of Euro Interleague Baseball.
