Biographical Information[edit]

Paul Toth had 2 career shutouts during his major league career. They came on July 4, 1963 against the New York Mets and on August 18th of that year against the Cincinnati Reds. Both came when Paul was pitching for the Chicago Cubs.

Paul was also a member of the Toledo Mud Hens. In 1961 he went 18-7 for Toledo.

Toth's obituary indicates that he spent part of his childhood in Youngstown, OH. After baseball he worked as a beer distributor and sales manager for two companies. Toledo Blade
