Biographical Information

Paul Solberg was a college coach.

In college, he played football and track. He became a teacher at Luther College in 1966 and remained there through 2001. He coached baseball from 1980-2001 (except 1987) and also coached wrestling (1966-1980, 1982-1983) and tennis and was assistant football (1966-2001) and track (1966-1967) coach. He coached 14 All-American wrestlers. He was three times the Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Coach of the Year in baseball. He did a lot of work with special education as well.
