Biographical Information[edit]

Paul Schnieders pitched in the Chicago Cubs system from 1947 to 1954. He won ten or more games twice -- in 1951, when he was 10-4 with a 3.77 ERA in 41 games for the Des Moines Bruins, Nashville Volunteers and Triple A Springfield Cubs and 1952, when he went 11-15 with a 3.64 ERA in 30 games for Des Moines. He first reached AAA in 1950.

Overall, he was 52-74 with a 3.84 ERA in 215 games.

He was a decorated World War II veteran.
