Biographical Information

Paul Jata appeared in 32 games for the Detroit Tigers in 1972. He made his major league debut at age 22.

Jata was a multi-position player in the minors and could also hit for a decent average. He spent parts of three years (1971-1973) with the Toledo Mud Hens.
