Missing another three years in the minors, the veteran returned in 1952 with the Gastonia Rockets. Personal Remembrance[edit]

Paul Fouts was a veteran utility player on the 1955 Rock Hill Chiefs of the Class B Tri-state League. Paul played mostly infield. He was a short, slender, wiry athlete. He probably was considered a contact hitter, without much power. My recollection is that Paul was a career minor leaguer, and had played several years prior to the 1955 Rock Hill season. His home state may have been North Carolina. His career probably included only the lower minor leagues of pro baseball. -Submitted by Bill O'Donnell, User:Pitcher53
