Paul Chapoton
Paul Chapoton graduated from Utica (MI) High School in 1968. He played at Adrian College (1969) and Oakland University (1970-1972) as a catcher. He was a tri-captain in 1972. He earned a B.A. degree and M.A. degree from Oakland University and an ED. Spec. degree from Wayne State University.
He was the Head Baseball coach at Utica High from 1975 to 1986 where his teams won three league titles, two district titles and one regional title. He became Oakland's Head coach in 1988 and coached through the 1993 season. He has the most career wins as a coach in OU baseball history as of 2011.
