Biographical Information[edit]
Paul Benoit played club baseball at Carnegie Mellon University before transferring to Kennesaw State University where he graduated in 2019 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Benoit began his coaching career while still a college student. He was an assistant coach for the St. Pius X Catholic middle school team in 2018-2019. After graduation he took his first college coaching position at Post University during the abbreviated 2020 season. The next year he moved on to Ottawa University as an Infield Coordinator and the Braves' Director of Analytics. After the 2021 season he served as the head coach of the Carolina Wolves in the fledgling Southern Shores Collegiate League. From there Benoit joined Towson University in September, 2021 as a volunteer assistant coach where he stayed through the end of 2023.
The St. Louis Cardinals hired Benoit in 2024 as a coach for the Springfield Cardinals.
