Paul Barts

Biographical Information[edit]

Paul Barts was an umpire in the Hoofdklasse, starting on a regional level in 1973 and retiring in 1985. He chaired the Umpiring Committees of a couple regions and was treasurer of the Baseball and Softball Umpires Association in the Netherlands. He hosted MLB umpire Nick Bremigan when Bremigan came to work with Dutch umpires. He also served on the Organizing Committee for the 1986 Amateur World Series.
