Biographical Information[edit]

Patrick Wilson played in the minor leagues from 1947 to 1949. He slashed .226/.307/.235 in 102 at-bats between two clubs his first year, then hit .255/.361/.370 with 118 hits, 92 runs, 11 triples, 19 stolen bases and 74 walks (to 56 strikeouts) in 116 games for the Morristown Red Sox in 1948. Back with Morristown in 1949, he hit .270/.378/.425 with 9 home runs, 72 RBI, 92 runs, 17 stolen bases and 74 walks (to 50 Ks). Overall, he hit .259/.363/.380 with 12 home runs, 152 RBI, 191 runs scored, 37 steals, 159 walks and 134 Ks over three seasons.

He served in the United States Coast Guard during World War II.
