Biographical Information[edit]
Pat Osborn was a second round choice by the Cleveland Indians in the 2002 amateur draft. He played in the Indians organization from 2002 to 2007, peaking at AA with the Akron Aeros. he also played part of the 2007 season in the Houston Astros organization before moving to the independent leagues in 2008. From 2008 to 2010 he was probably the best hitter on the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs of the Atlantic League, playing 372 games with the team overall and belting 84 doubles and 39 homers over the three seasons. In 2008, he hit .326 for the team. In 2011, he succeeded Butch Hobson as the team's manager.
