Biographical Information[edit]
Pat Simmons was used heavily by the Boston Red Sox as a reliever when he was 19 years old in 1928. Appearing in 31 games, he finished more games (19) than any other Red Sox pitcher. He was the third-youngest player in the league that year; Mel Harder was the youngest.
He played for Montreal in 1931.
