Biographical Information[edit]

A graduate of Texas A&M, pitcher Pat Olsen played three seasons of minor league ball. Olsen went 16-10 for the 1924 Springfield Ponies. In '25, he had a 5-3 record for the 1925 St. Joseph Saints and 5-5 for the 1926 Saints. He hit .220 as a pro. His alma mater's ballpark, Olsen Field, is named in his honor. He threw out a first pitch during the 1984 World Series.
