Biographical Information[edit]

Pat Evers pitched in the independent leagues before becoming a college coach.

Evers was 2-5 with five saves and a 3.86 ERA in 29 games (one start) for the 2005 River City Rascals. He went 3-7 with 19 saves and a 2.91 ERA the next year, walking only 11 in 52 2/3 innings. He was 4th in the Frontier League in saves (between Mike Bille and Todd Pennington), tied for 6th in losses and tied Hunter Davis for 5th with 42 games pitched. He was pitching coach for the 2007 Duluth Huskies and assistant at St. Louis Community College - Florissant Valley and 2008 Quincy Gems. He pitched briefly for the 2008 Rascals (2-0, 1.50 in 5 G) to end his pro career at 7-12, 3.14 with 24 saves.

He was assistant at his alma mater, Central Missouri, in 2008-2009. From 2010-2014, he was assistant at Jefferson College. From 2015-2018, he was head coach at Jefferson, setting a school record for wins (54-12-1) in 2018 and a spot in the 2018 NJCAA Division I Baseball World Series. He helped develop future big leaguer Matt Stites as well. In 2019, he moved to Maryville University of Saint Louis as head coach.
