Biographical Information[edit]
Pascual Matos played fourteen seasons in the minors. In 1999, he played in six games for the Atlanta Braves.
In the 2002 Intercontinental Cup, Matos was 4 for 16 with 2 doubles as the catcher for the Bronze Medalists from the Dominican Republic. He also won a Bronze in the 2002 Central American and Caribbean Games.
In 2007, he played for the independent Yuma Bullfrogs of the Golden Baseball League and continued to play winter baseball in the Dominican Republic In 2008, he moved on to the Italian League, where he played for the Cariparma Parma. He hit only .241/.262/.367. This was his final professional season.
