Biographical Information[edit]
Oz Ocampo has been a minor league executive.
Ocampo was an intern for Major League Baseball in the Dominican Republic in 2004. From 2005-2007, he was Dominican Academy Administrator/Coordinator of Latin American Scouting for the St. Louis Cardinals, then was a midwest area scout and Coordinator of International Player Development for them. Finishing his MBA, he worked for MLB in the commissioner's office. In August 2012, he joined the Houston Astros; in 2013, he became the Director of International Operations for Houston. In 2020, he moved to the Pittsburgh Pirates as a special assistant.
