Biographical Information[edit]
Otto Neu is remembered for appearing in just one game in the majors, without having an at-bat or a defensive opportunity.
The regular shortstop for the 1917 St. Louis Browns was Doc Lavan.
Neu died shortly before his 38th birthday.
He is one of two players named "Neu" to play in the majors (through 2007), the other being Mike Neu.
