Biographical Information[edit]
Otis Johnson played one year in the majors, getting 209 at-bats with the 1911 New York Highlanders. Although his batting average was low, he drew many walks and had above-average power. He scored the winning run for the Highlanders at the Philadelphia Athletics' home opener.
In 1909 he led the PCL in home runs.
Johnson died in 1915, shot in a hunting accident.
