Oscar Alvarado (Nicaragua)
Oscar Alvarado played for the Nicaraguan national team.
He hit .435/~.489/.537 in the 1953 Amateur World Series as Nicaragua won Bronze. He led the event in hits (18, one ahead of Antonio Castillo), was second in average (.016 behind Domingo Vargas) and possibly second with 11 RBI (4 behind Félix Torres). [1] He was also with Nicaragua for the 1954 Central American and Caribbean Games. [2]
