Team History

The Orleans Cardinals were an original member of the Cape Cod Baseball League in 1963. It took 24 years for the Cardinals to win their first CCBL title, as they won the 1986 championship under manager John Castleberry. The Cardinals would win a further three league titles before they changed their name to the Firebirds in 2009.
