Biographical Information

Orlando Sanchez played for the Santurce Crabbers in the Puerto Rico Winter League. As a major leaguer, he was selected in the Rule V draft twice, in 1980 and 1983.

In 2009, Sanchez managed the Saraperos de Saltillo to their second Mexican League pennant. He took them to another title in 2010. When the team started 2011 35-50, though, he was sacked in favor of Noé Muñoz.
