Biographical Information

Shortstop Orlando Miller had a professional career that lasted from 1988 to 2008.

Miller tied Lee Delfino for the most triples (1) in the 1999 Pan American Games and scored one of two Panama runs in the quarterfinal game in which they were eliminated from being in the 2000 Olympics. Miller hit .243/.293/.378 for Panama in the 2001 Baseball World Cup, acting as their starting shortstop. In the 2002 Intercontinental Cup, Miller batted .296/.387/.519 for Panama. In the qualifiers for the 2008 Olympics, Miller batted .268/.333/.610 with 8 extra-base hits in 9 games for Panama, but they went 2-5 and failed to make the Olympics, barely qualifying for the 2007 Baseball World Cup even.
