Biographical Information[edit]

Orlando González was a 3B/OF for Camagüey from 1990-2005. He led the 2000-2001 Serie Nacional with 8 sacrifice flies. He hit .301/.334/.407 with 436 runs and 477 RBI in 966 games, fielding .955. He became the team's manager in 2016-2017. He went 24-21 in the first half but the team was 18-30 in the second half. He was 20-25 in 2017-2018 and 19-26 in 2018-2019, not making the second half either time. He was then succeeded by Miguel Borroto.
