Orléans, Centre-Val de Loire
Orléans is a city in north-central France, located on the Loire River about 130 kilometres southwest of Paris, France. It is most associated with Joan of Arc ("the Maid of Orleans") and is the préfecture (capital) of the Loiret département and of the Centre-Val de Loire région and gave its name to New Orleans, LA. Charlie Lea was born here.
