Biographical Information

Oliver Brown played briefly for the Brooklyn Atlantics of the National Association in 1872 and 1875, both years when the team finished under .500. He played mostly right field, although he was also at first base and center field. Brown, born in Brooklyn, had previously played for the Atlantics in 1869, when they were an amateur team.
