Octavio Orozco was the brother of Mexican League star Jaime Orozco. Octavio began his career as Jaime's teammate on the 1985 Puebla Parrots and was nearly as good at 6-5, 4.45 with a save. In 1986, he went 13-2 with a 5.80 ERA for Puebla, allowign 172 hits in 125 2/3 IP. He fell from there, going 1-1 with a 8.22 ERA in 3 games in 1987, 0-1 with 8 runs in 3 2/3 IP in 1988 and allowing 5 runs in 5 2/3 IP for the 1990 Monterrey Industrials. Overall, his record was 20-9 woith a save and a 5.67 ERA in 54 games.
