Team History[edit]
The Northern Colorado Owlz were originally the Orem Owlz of the then affiliated Pioneer League before it was designated as an MLB Partner League following the coronavirus pandemic before the 2020 season. The Owlz were the Angels Rookie ball affiliate from 2001(Provo Angels) to 2019. In their first year back in the Pioneer League in 2022 they played at the University of Northern Colorado's field until their new home at TicketSmarter Stadium opened in time for the 2023 season.
