Biographical Information[edit]

Norman Wielansky pitched in the St. Louis Browns/Baltimore Orioles system in 1950, 1951 and 1954. He was 19-5 with a 3.06 ERA in 28 games with the Marshall Browns his first campaign (his .792 winning percentage led the East Texas League) and 30-20, 4.10 in 71 games overall. On May 3, 1950, he tossed a combined no hitter against the Tyler Trojans. Robert Snyder started the game.
