Biographical Information[edit]
Norm Glockson came to the majors for seven games with the 1914 Cincinnati Reds. He had put up a line of .301/.393/.486 and 17 stolen bases as catcher with the Newport News Shipbuilders during most of the 1914 season.
Norm, at age 20, was the second-youngest player on the Reds (Pete Schneider was 18).
In 1920 he served as player-manager for the Rock Island Islanders. Also on that team was Willard Glockson.
He served in the Navy and played one game in the NFL in 1922.
