Biographical Information[edit]
Norm Caig was a top Canadian catcher in the early 1970s.
Caig caught for Team Canada in the 1971 Amateur World Series, 1971 Pan American Games, 1972 Amateur World Series and 1973 Amateur World Series (FEMBA). He later was head coach of Baseball British Columbia from 1973-1985, winning a Gold Medal at the 1977 Canada Games and being named Baseball Canada Coach of the Year in 1981. His son T.J. Caig has played hockey in several countries.
