Biographical Information

Fist baseman Norbert Pickering played 16 games in rookie ball for the Houston Astros organization in 1990. The 19-year-old hit quite well -- 18 for 47 (.383), with no homers and 9 RBIs. That was the extent of his pro experience, though he remained active in recreational ball years later in his native St. Croix.
